The Quiet year is a map game. You define the struggles of a community living after the collapse of civilization. The 52 cards each correspond to a week of the year and trigger certain events – bringing bad news, good omens, project delays and sudden changes in luck. Your decisions will define the values and future of the community and be added to an evolving collaboratively drawn map. This map blends literal cartography with symbols, creating a rich visual record of land and people.
