Medium is a social word game of mind reading, word guessing, and high-fiving. In Medium, players will act as psychics—or mediums—harnessing their otherworldly extrasensory abilities to access the other players’ most private thoughts.

In the game Medium, players pair up and work to form their psychic links together. One pair of players selects two cards, one from each of the player’s hands, and together they think of the word that connects the words or ideas on their two cards. Then, once they’re fully mind-melded, both players attempt to say the “medium” word out loud in unison. Frequently, the two players do not say the same word, so play continues, giving them two more chances to say a matching word based on the words they’ve said while attempting to solidify their psychic connection!
