BHG's Free Quarterly
Game Tournament!

Board Game Challenge is hosted on the last Saturday of Each Quarter (dates listed below). 

We host a monthly Featured Game Night & Learn to Play Event!
One of the games featured in the first or second month of each quarter are picked as the tournament game.

Tournaments are open to Adults & Teens | FREE Entry
*It is a requirement that ALL participants must have played the game before or know the rules well enough to play.
Everyone will participants in 2 full games. The Winner of the tournement determined by the player with the highest sum of their scores.
All participants are entered into a raffle for a chance to win a game!

BHG Board Game Challeng Event Structure:

When: Hosted on the last Saturday of Each Quarter (4 total in a year) from 4:00-7:00 PM

Game: The game will be chosen and announced a month in advance! 
The tournament game will be chosen from one of the games picked for our Featured Game Night & Learn to Play Event for that quarter.
There will always be a copy of the game available to play in our library if you'd like to learn or refresh the rule, or practice your strategy!

Who: Anyone can join! This is a free event designed for Adults & Teens*
Only Requirement is that all participants must have played the game before or know the game well enough before to play without a teach.
(Kids 8+ may attend if accompanied to the event by an adult. Kids MUST be able to play FULLY independently with no help from adults or other players.
Not all games will be age appropriate for kids younger than 14 due to compelexity)

Tournament Structure:
- Each participant will be randomly assigned a table to play at. We do our best to divide players into even tables for fairness.
- Each participant will play in 2 rounds of the full* game. *Each game has a 90 min time limit. If a table has not finished a game within the time limit, the game will end immediately once players have had a equal number of turns. 

How is the Winner Determined: Tournament Placements will be determined by the sum of each players scores. Each player's scores from both games will be added together to form their total sum.

Winner's Prize: The Winner of Each Tournement will earn their name on the trophy wall!

Raffle: All participants will be entered into a raffle! 
Players can up to 2 extra tickets for the raffle if they 
A) bring a copy of the game to use - 1 extra ticket 
B) preregister for the event at least 1 day in advance - 1 extra ticket
