Blue Highway Games: Pokemon League

We have a maximum capacity of 40 for the league. We have occasionally filled up, in which case you may have to wait until someone leaves. If you would like to reserve a spot you can pre-pay for a given date.

COST: $2/day

SATURDAYS 10-12

Our Pokemon league is a casual, friendly environment for people who play Pokemon (or those who would like to learn how to play) to come together. These are open house style, drop in events. Come any Saturday when it works into your schedule. You don't have to be here right at 10:00. Anytime between 10-12 is fine.

Players will get a score card and earn stamps for every game they play with an opportunity to win special cards and gym badges. No experience necessary, but the kids do need to be able to read the cards and count by 10’s.

You will need your own deck of cards.

DECK BUILDING TIPS:

A deck = 60 cards

Sort your pokemon by type (grass, fire, etc.)

Sort your energy cards by type

Pick just 1 or 2 types to use in your deck

Pick 25 Pokemon, 25 matching energy cards, and 10 trainers

NOTE: Some pokemon are "basic". You can always start with these.

Some pokemon are "stage 1" or "stage 2". You can't play these unless you have the cards that they evolve from (the card will tell you in tiny letters who it evolves from). Don't include stage 1 or stage 2 cards unless you also have the cards that they evolve from.
